RIVERSIDE REEDS
RIVERSIDE REEDS is a Clarinet/Saxophone Quartet. The four members are all friends who have worked and played regularly together in various orchestras and ensembles. They are all successful musicians who look forward to many years of RIVERSIDE REEDS. They decided to form this quartet to enable them to pursue the repertoire for clarinet and saxophone quartets. The members are Alison Eales, Laura Scales, Sandy Tate and Carol Taylor.
The Quartet, formed early in 1997, plays a varied repertoire of light classical to jazzy music written and arranged for the different members of the clarinet and saxophone families.
Between them, the quartet has a full range of instruments in the clarinet and saxophone families, 2 E flat clarinets, 2 C Clarinets, 4 B flat clarinets, 2 bass clarinets, an alto clarinet, a basset horn, 4 alto saxophones, 2 soprano saxophones, 3 2 tenor saxophones and 2 baritone saxophones.
